My 7 Ideas Of Feminism
My idea of feminism is a person not necessarily a woman but a man too who believes in the social, political, economic equality of the sexes.
1. When a woman is a feminist does not mean she's abrasive and rude to the menfolk it's just that she's strong and defines herself as an equal partner rather than the weaker sex.
2. She's feminine but yet knows what she wants if it's a man or a job. She defines herself by the value she places on herself not what others place on her. Her dignity is priority and won't tolerate disrespect.
3. She can cook and do chores but she's that woman who thinks cooking and cleaning should not be a gender thing, but what both sexes can engage in equally.
4. She's intelligent and ferocious in taking risks or taking up careers society terms to be a man's thing. She rather competes for a job than compete for a man with a lady.
5. She can hold intelligent conversations and is willing to learn more even from the menfolk.
6. She's independent and overly ambitious, she aims to be successful, very successful even if a man is threatened by her success. She holds her own financially.
7. Because she's female she doesn't shrink herself or make life choices keeping in mind that marriage is the most important but rather her goals and dreams are the most important.
A feminist is not an aggressive - looking, man - hating harridans. Rather she's a woman whose mind is beautiful and wears high heels for herself not him, who isn't afraid to speak her mind. She believes she can do not everything but isn't afraid to take risks even if it doesn't turn out not perfect. She believes love is give and take not always on the side of a woman to give all the time. She believes in the equality of the sexes.
