Benefits of carrots / the carrot juice.

  When Mama cooks Jollof rice she chops slices of carrots in it. On Sundays, her stew is often speckled with bits of carrots that we have with white rice. Sometimes, she makes carrot sauce which we use to eat white yam, rice and spaghetti.
    Carrots were her favourite thing in the world, and when it wasn't speckled in her Jollof rice or stew we had them after eating.
   Now I know why she did. Carrots are highly essential for good health and wellbeing. You get vitamin A pills and a host of other powerful health benefits including beautiful skin, cancer prevention and anti aging. 
Benefits of carrots

3. Slows down aging.
4. Protects the skin from sun damage.
5. Helps prevent infection.
6. Promotes healthier skin.(from the outside).

   So next time you plan your meal have carrots speckled with it or you can make carrot juice if you think it is hard chewing carrots (I get that feeling too).
  Carrot juice is simple just buy carrots from a grocery store or a nearby market ( the ones gotten from the market should be properly washed with hot water). Then chop them and mash with a food processor or a blender. You can add lime or maybe use oranges too for taste.
