The Archaic School System -Pan-Africanism Should Be History In Our Schools

Then when I was in school, we didn't have a history class it was more like a government class where our teacher dished out mostly subjects about our Independence, amalgamation, military rule and partly civil war too. But we didn't have potentially full subjects about our country and other African countries, schools in Africa were built to beat the Africaness out of us.
It is really a shame, our schools and media can promote a lot of foreign politics and history, but it when comes to our own, we are basically backwards.
I think a fifteen year old of our generation today, can name a lot of foreign leaders and have no ideas about the names of our African leaders. They are left in the shadows about the things Africa, we have foreigners telling our own stories and telling it their ways not our ways. .
Our fates as Africans are entwined. Nobody can empathize with us other than us Africans, recusing ourselves. Technically, we need to reform our school system and create our own school system, not really doing our education to the standards of the whites. Change the curriculum. Let Africans tell each other history instead in our schools. Let our schools have stories and histories not just about its country but every other African countries.
We want a system where Africans are telling their history more than any one who isn't African. Killing our basic stereotypes about Africa and sharing our beauties and pains and aspirations.
We need pan-Africanism as our basic language in our schools.
